📖Characters Lore

The Seraphim

Named after an angelic being of ancient legend, the Seraphim is a light machine, equipped with a rail gun and bladed wings. It shoots with pinpoint accuracy.

The Fenrir

Animalistic and hunched over, the Fenrir “Wolf Blade” is very much a demon in the eyes of the Federation. A light machine, it excels at stealth with its cloaking field and strikes with lightning precision.

The Guardian

Equipped with a huge broad sword and shield, the Guardian stands tall amongst all the Federation Forces units with its striking appearance. It is reminiscent of the ancient knight of old Terran history with its helmeted and armored body.

Kamaitachi

Wielding two large curved blades, Kamaitachi certainly strikes terror into the hearts of any Federation Forces unit. Equipped with a hover board, it cuts into any enemy without remorse and without fear.

Like all Alliance machines, not much else is known.

Typhon

A deadly machine with hexa arms, kinetic shield and the ability to disable range attacks, the Knife Dancer is feared by the Federation Forces.

Typhon is reputed to be born, like the aliens, in vats, even though most of it is hearsay. It is certainly powered by AWG crystals.

Huskarl

Barrel-chested, Huskarl was developed very early in Federation history to counter the Alliance mech incursions. It quickly became the machine of choice of many mech units of the Federation Forces.

The Fire Cougar

A venerable heavy support mech, the Fire Cougar stands on sturdy retracted legs. It is a warrior that fires its weaponry from a distance, often scoring hits on unfortunate Alliance targets. Slow and ponderous, twin rail guns and twin missile launchers, it works well with the Jaguar as a protector mech. It was developed on Cerberus, alongside with the Jaguar. The engineers who designed both mechs perfected missile firing by using the vast terrain of Cerberus with its canyons as testing grounds for the machines’ firing capabilities.

The Jaguar

A faster machine than the Fire Cougar, the Jaguar can pivot its torso and is equipped with a large laser rifle and a hand gun. A sniper, it hides and shoots with deadly accuracy. Paired with the Fire Cougar, the Jaguar provides accurate fire support.

Ashura

Woe betides the Federation Forces unit that encounters this particular Alliance machine. It wields four sharp katana-like blades that cut with deadly accuracy. Countless lives have been lost so that the Federation Forces units term it “wielder of fates.”

It is huge, armored like some samurai warrior from the past. It is rumored that the Alliance copies what they has gleaned from the Federation’s distant history. Armor. Weaponry. Even styles of fighting and combat.
